Sunday mornings at FPCA hold tradition and spontaneity in the same room. On any given Sunday, enjoy traditional hymns as well as jazz, gospel, and praise music. During the Passing of the Peace, people actually stop and connect. The preaching links scripture to what is happening in the world and in people’s lives right now.
We are a More Light church and a member of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians, which means the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in the life and leadership of the church. This is not a position we arrived at reluctantly. It is a reflection of who we are and what we believe about the love of God.

Children at FPCA set the communion table, light the candles, and pour the baptismal water. From Godly Play on Sunday mornings to Vacation Bible School in the summer, the youngest members of this congregation are learning early that faith is something you do.
On any given week, the campus is home to recovery groups, grief support, adult study groups, music recitals, rotating art exhibitions, and camps for children with special needs. Neighbors stop by the Little Free Library, the playground, and the labyrinth without stepping inside.
