Community Partners & Outreach

Out of an abundance of love

Rooted in faith and nurtured by grace, our organic response is a life of generosity. At FPCA, we give and serve out of an abundance of love for God, our church family, and our neighbors.

Service Events

We strive to help through our work and through partnerships in the community. Here are just a few examples of the types of service events we do in the community:

  • Hands-on service projects such as packing disaster buckets and hygiene kits for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, making sandwiches for ATX Free Fridge, and building Manna Bags for people experiencing homelessness in Austin
  • Annual donations to a specific ministry partner through Coffee with a Cause from our Sunday morning coffee bar
  • Annual VBS Service Squad projects and Youth Mission Trips
  • Annual Rise Against Hunger meal packing
  • Annual Giving Tree and School Supply Donations for the Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services
  • Monthly “Food on the First” and annual “Souper Bowl of Caring” non-perishable food donations for the Manos de Cristo Food Pantry
  • Local Events for the Northwest Hills Austin neighborhood, such as Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, and Vacation Bible School
