At FPCA, adult life together happens morning, noon, and night, across the week and across Austin. Whether you’re drawn to deep Bible study, a bike ride through Northwest Hills, or pizza with people who get it, there’s a place for you here.
On most Sundays after the 10:00 am service, adults can choose from a few different paths.
If you’d rather have an unstructured hour, the campus has space for that too. Walk the labyrinth, visit the History Room, find someone you don’t know well and start a conversation, or settle into a quiet corner with your journal.
The rhythm shifts a few times a year. On the first Sunday of each month, we host Fellowship on the First, a multigenerational gathering over food and connection. On fifth Sundays, everyone joins together for a hands-on community service project.
Summer Specifics (June-August): Adult offerings continue through the summer in a lighter, more informal rhythm. Fellowship on the First and fifth-Sunday service projects carry on all year long.
Looking to go deeper? Our adult study groups meet throughout the week at homes, at church, at restaurants, and online. Every group has its own personality. Find yours.
Third Thursdays at 8:00 pm at the Brewtorium. This is the group for the questions you weren’t sure you were allowed to ask. Theological, biblical, and everything in between. Nothing is off the table.
Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm online. Connect over weekly questions and open-ended discussion from wherever you are.
Wednesdays at noon, September through June (first Wednesday only in July and August). Bring your lunch and your questions.
Tuesdays at 7:00 am at Kerbey Lane on Kerbey Lane. Early risers, this one’s for you. Fill your spirit while you fill your stomach.
First and third Wednesdays at 10:30 am. A women’s book study group with challenging reads and wide-open, stimulating conversation.
Some of the best faith formation happens around a table or out in the world together.
On the first Sunday of each month, stay after worship and share a meal with the community. Locations rotate, so check the calendar to find out where we’re gathering next. It might be a potluck in Fellowship Hall or a chance to try a new local restaurant with friends.
Once a year, we head to the Texas Hill Country for a weekend of prayer, rest, and connection along the banks of the Guadalupe River. Single, retired, families with kids, this retreat has space for all of it.
Throughout the year, the whole FPCA community worships and plays together. Water Mania, Chili Cook-off, pancake breakfasts, and Trunk or Treat are all part of the rhythm.
Several fellowship groups meet throughout the month and throughout Austin to connect outside of church. Here’s a taste of what’s happening.
First Sunday of each month, 5:30 to 7:30 pm at rotating local restaurant locations. This gathering is for adults in a season of transition—parents of older teens, empty nesters, recent or soon-to-be retirees—who enjoy good food, meaningful conversation, and community.
First and third Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. Watch a movie together. That’s it. That’s the group.
Twice a week, this group meets in the church parking lot for an early nine-mile ride through Northwest Hills before heading to work. No Alps, just good company.
Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Bring your quilting, knitting, embroidery, crocheting, or any handwork and settle in for great conversation.
First Fridays at 6:30 pm online. Bring your own craft projects, show-and-tell, and share prayers of the people.
Brunch, breweries, mission projects, bowling, hockey games. This group is always up for something new.
A community for parents of young children. Join them for date night outings and low-key fun. Check the calendar for what’s coming up.
A 60-minute full-body workout in the FPCA parking lot led by certified personal trainers. Register through Camp Gladiator.
Fridays at 1:00 pm online. Grab a cup of coffee and check in with friends. No driving required.
