Children’s Sunday School: Faith and Bible Stories for Kids in Austin

Second, Third, and Fourth Sundays | September–May | Community Room

Children have wonderful questions about God, Jesus, and the world around them. At First Presbyterian Church of Austin, Children’s Sunday School gives kids in grades 1–5 a welcoming place to explore those questions, discover Bible stories, and grow in faith.

On the second, third, and fourth Sundays from September through May, children head to Sunday School after the children’s message during worship, where they spend the remainder of the service learning about the stories of God and Jesus. Through age-appropriate lessons and opportunities to wonder together, children begin discovering how these stories connect with their own lives and faith.

On the first Sunday of each month, children remain with their families throughout worship and participate in communion, celebrating the shared life of our intergenerational church community.

Whether your family has been part of church for years or you’re looking for a welcoming, family-friendly church in Austin, we’d love to welcome you. At First Presbyterian Church of Austin, children are valued members of our faith community, encouraged to ask questions, explore their faith, and discover that they belong.

All children in grades 1–5 are welcome! Join us for worship on Sunday mornings and discover a place where kids are free to wonder, learn, and grow.
