The Season of Lent
“The good news brings us back to our roots, back to what grounds us: loving our neighbor, caring for the vulnerable, pursuing justice and mercy, and resting in God’s unending grace. This Lent, may the teachings of Jesus lead us forward. Let the good news ground us. And let that good news inspire us to take action in a world desperate to hear, see, and taste what is good.”

The Good News Is… Even Judas Gets His Feet Washed
Maundy Thursday commemorates Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples. Their ritual meal was a celebration of the Jewish Passover, but Jesus gave new meaning to the bread and wine they shared. Holy Communion is a constant reminder of this meal and Jesus’ promise to be with us always. Jesus washed his disciples’ feet, including Judas, modeling grace, love, and servant leadership. Enjoy music from the Handbell Choir and Sanctuary Choir.
